Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By creating an account, downloading the RoMacro app, or using romacro.com (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
These Terms form a binding contract between you and Virage Studio, a sole proprietorship registered in Québec, Canada.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use RoMacro, and creating an account requires confirming this. RoMacro is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has read these Terms and consented to your use of the Service.
We may refuse service to anyone at our discretion.
3. Your account
- One account per person.
- Provide a real email address. We use it for password resets, security alerts, and important service notices.
- You're responsible for keeping your password confidential. We are not liable for losses caused by you sharing or losing your password.
- Don't impersonate other people in your display name or profile.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use RoMacro to:
- Create, publish, or share malicious macros, meaning macros designed to type credentials, open dangerous URLs, execute shell commands, download malware, drain accounts, or otherwise harm the person running them.
- Harass, threaten, defame, or impersonate other users.
- Violate any applicable law or the rights of third parties, including the terms of service of any software your macro interacts with (see Section 9).
- Bypass rate limits, scrape data at volume, or interfere with the Service's normal operation.
- Attempt unauthorized access to other accounts, our servers, or any data not yours.
- Reverse-engineer the desktop app for redistribution, repackaging, or competing services. (Personal modification for your own use is fine.)
- Use the forum to insult or harass people, post slurs, spam, advertise, or arrange scams, including asking anyone to pay before they have what they paid for, or for account passwords. RoMacro filters some language automatically; getting around the filter is itself a violation.
- Upload, post, or share obscene, sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, violent, or otherwise illegal content, including in profile pictures, cover images, macro titles, descriptions, and tags. Any sexual content involving minors is strictly prohibited and will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
Reporting & moderation: if you encounter content that violates these Terms (an offensive image, a harmful macro, impersonation, or anything illegal), email support@getromacro.com with a link or description and we'll review it. We may remove content, refuse uploads, and suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion, with or without notice. We don't pre-screen everything users upload, but we act on reports and on anything we discover ourselves.
5. Your content
You own the macros you create.
When you choose to publish a macro through RoMacro, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, store, display, and distribute it solely to operate the Service, for example showing it to other users who download it, including it in the "Trending" and "Recent" feeds, and serving it via the share URL.
This license lasts as long as the macro is published. If you delete the macro or close your account, the license ends, though backup snapshots may persist for up to 14 days before they're rotated out.
You are responsible for everything you publish. If your content violates these Terms or applicable law, we may remove it without notice.
6. Our content
The RoMacro app, the RoMacro name and logo, the website, and all code, designs, and copy are owned by Virage Studio and protected by copyright and other laws.
You may use the app for its intended purpose. You may not:
- Redistribute the installer or copies of the app.
- Modify the app and redistribute it.
- Use the RoMacro name or logo to suggest endorsement or affiliation that doesn't exist.
7. Payments
RoMacro offers a free tier and one paid plan, Creator.
- Card payments are processed by Stripe and are subject to Stripe's terms. We never see or store your card details.
- Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly, as chosen at checkout. Card subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
- Refunds: we offer a 14-day refund window from the initial purchase or upgrade. Email
support@getromacro.comto request one. - We may change pricing for future billing periods with at least 30 days' notice. Existing periods are unaffected.
- Taxes (GST/HST/TVQ, VAT) may apply depending on your location and will be added at checkout.
8. Paid macros
Some macros on Browse are sold by their creators for Robux, through a Roblox game pass the creator owns. Some are sold by Virage Studio for US dollars, paid by card. Some macros are run-only: their creator has hidden how they work.
- Macros bought by card are sold by Virage Studio, and section 7 (Payments) applies to them, including its 14-day refund window. A purchase unlocks the macro on the RoMacro account that bought it, including its updates. A refunded or disputed payment ends access to the macro.
- A Robux sale is between you and the creator. You buy the game pass on Roblox, and Roblox pays the creator. Virage Studio is not a party to that sale: we don't set prices, we never receive or hold Robux, and Roblox's own rules apply to the purchase.
- What we do: check with Roblox that you own the pass, and give your RoMacro account access to the macro. That is the whole of our role.
- Creators are solely responsible for their paid macros: what they do, whether they work, updates, support, and whether they stay available. If a creator changes, stops updating, retires, deletes or takes down a macro, removes or reprices its game pass, closes their account, or otherwise stops offering it after you bought it, that is between you and the creator. Virage Studio is not responsible and owes no refund, compensation, or replacement. When a creator deletes a macro people bought, we try to keep the last version available to those buyers, but we don't guarantee it.
- No refunds of Robux from us. We can't refund Robux; ask the creator, or see Roblox's own policies.
- We may remove any macro, paid or not (for example malware, stolen content, or a violation of these Terms), and that can end access for people who bought it. We are not liable for that.
- Free trials. A creator may offer a free trial of a paid macro: a set amount of time using it (while its screen is open or it's running), once per person. A trial needs a connection and counts time on our servers; when it's used up the macro stops until you buy it. Using several accounts or computers to get more trial time isn't allowed; we may refuse a trial, and creators may change or end theirs at any time.
- The Creator plan includes access to paid macros while the plan is active. That access ends when the plan ends; macros you bought separately stay yours.
- Don't copy protected macros. You may not extract, copy, reverse-engineer, share, resell, or republish a paid or run-only macro, or help anyone do so. Copies are marked with the account they were sent to. Doing this can get your account terminated, and published copies are removed.
- If you sell: you must own the game pass (or the group that owns it), have the right to sell what your macro contains, and follow Roblox's terms. You are responsible for your buyers, for any taxes on your earnings, and for any action Roblox takes on your pass or account. Selling requires a Creator plan and a linked Roblox account.
9. Macros that interact with other software (e.g. Roblox)
RoMacro is a general-purpose input automation tool. You may use it to automate any software running on your computer, including games.
Important: Many games, including Roblox, prohibit automation in their own terms of service. Using RoMacro to automate inputs into those games may result in your account being suspended or banned by them.
That is between you and the operator of the software you automate. We do not endorse any specific use case and accept no responsibility for bans, lockouts, or other consequences arising from your use of RoMacro to interact with third-party software.
10. AI features
RoMacro offers optional AI features (the AI Assistant and the AI Vision block) powered by third-party AI models from Z.ai and Anthropic. By using them you acknowledge:
- You are interacting with an AI system, not a human. Output is generated automatically, may be inaccurate, and must be reviewed before you rely on or run it.
- When you use an AI feature, the text, macro, or image you submit is sent to the relevant AI provider to generate a response. See the Privacy Policy for details.
- You will not use the AI features to generate illegal, harmful, harassing, or sexual content, to attempt to bypass safety measures, or in any way that violates the AI provider's usage policies.
- You can report an inappropriate AI response using the in-app Report button or by emailing
safety@getromacro.com.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Macros will work as intended for any particular purpose
- The cloud features (publish, browse, like, etc.) will be free of bugs or downtime
Macros are automation scripts that act on your computer. You run them at your own risk and should review what each one does before trusting it. RoMacro shows a preview of any imported macro's actions before you run it; review that preview carefully.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Virage Studio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including lost data, lost profits, lost gaming accounts, or loss of goodwill.
Our total cumulative liability to you in any 12-month period is capped at the greater of:
- (a) CAD $50, or
- (b) the total amount you actually paid us in that period.
Some jurisdictions don't allow limitations of liability. To the extent yours doesn't, the relevant limitation does not apply to you, but others remain in effect.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Virage Studio harmless from claims, damages, and costs arising from your violation of these Terms, your published macros, or your misuse of the Service.
14. Termination
You can close your account at any time by emailing support@getromacro.com. Account closure deletes your data per the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. We'll give reasonable notice where possible.
Sections that should logically survive termination (your obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law) do.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
Any dispute will be brought in the courts of the judicial district of Montréal, Québec, unless your local consumer protection laws mandate a different venue.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when our practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision, and we may also point out significant changes in the app.
Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you don't agree, close your account before the effective date.
